CRAFTED WITH CARE

Crafted with care. Our specially developed breathable fleece is made in Europe from a blend of 70% polyester, minimum 50% recycled, and 30% viscose.

100% EU production. Free from harmful substances. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, cert. no. 2176-347 DTI.

Machine wash and hang to dry, ready to wear after a few hours.

FLEECE 70% POLYESTER, 30% VISCOSE

Most fleece materials are made from 100% polyester, whereas ours contain only 70%. Polyester has several sought-after qualities: it is durable, holds its shape well and has excellent colour stability. We have taken it a step further by choosing high-quality polyester that is free from heavy metals, with 50–70% of the fibres recycled.

The remaining 30% consists of viscose, which creates an airier and more breathable fleece material. We have selected a sustainable viscose product where trees are replanted and pesticides are not permitted.

We recommend washing your fleece before first wear, as production dust is common and can be particularly visible on lighter or darker colours.

As with most textiles, you may notice a slight change in the overall appearance after the first wash. After this, the fleece is designed to maintain its shape, colour and softness wash after wash. We recommend hanging garments to dry rather than tumble drying to reduce wear and save energy.

The same quality fleece is used across Henriette Steffensen Copenhagen, Carl by Steffensen and Growing Up by Steffensen. The fleece material is produced in carefully selected factories in Italy, with cutting and sewing carried out in Lithuania. HSCPH fleece designs are therefore 100% European produced and certified under OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, cert. no. 2176-347 DTI.
